I am fed up with this account freeze issue. Can anyone guide me how can i complaint to RBI through proper channel? I also request everyone here to do the same. Jupiter can’t just blame this on partner bank. Neo banks were supposed to ease our banking, not complicate it.

I’m seeing a lot of posts on community about the frozen accounts, want to know others thoughts on this! Most of them are miserable because of the issue…!!!

Jupiter has freezed my account without intimating me . I kept a huge amount because I have medical emergency and now I am not able to withdraw or do any transaction . How fair it is ? Being an software engineer what every the salary I am getting is transferred in to jupiter account and I lost trust in jupiter. I lost my interest in using jupiter account further
Any reasons as to why this happened? Any unsuasl transactions? I’ve learnt not to keep all eggs in one basket.

Jupiter finally solved my frozen account issue.
They said they were unable to lift the freeze and the only option that I have left is to CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. When asked, they are citing regulations by partner bank. (I don’t get it, why can’t they just name it! FEDERAL BANK). There were irregularities in my onboarding process.
The irregularities?
It took multiple attempts to complete my VKYC. On first attempt, I was told to order new PAN CARD from NSDL. Took a week. Did it. Then, some attempts failed as my device back camera had some issues. I logged in to other device and completed VKYC successfully. But then suddenly the account was frozen and I was told to that I will get an email from cyber team to resolve the issue and if I didn’t get it, then contact the cyber team on mail.
I did not get the mail, and I emailed the cyber team. But cyber guys said to contact support team. Did that too. The support team REPEATEDLY says only one thing. “Can’t give a timeline to resolve the issue, but you can withdraw your money seamlessly”.
Last week I finally wrote about my frustration on community posts. I guess they are fed up about my complaints and suggesting to close my account.
I opened my account on Jupiter as I had heard positive reviews about it, but I guess they have issues even in account opening section. God knows how their “Jupiter 2.0” will pan out. These guys just sit in banglore office/cafes and running their college project.
Many members are complaining about the onboarding process, and i think jupiter teams need lookouts for a solution.
First deal with frozen accounts of customers, then launch your versions. Customers are fed up with frozen status of account neither Jupiter not federal Bank is doing anything about it.
My account was also frozen my Gujarat cyber cell, I called them and said to WhatsApp them so I send them message regarding my issues, they replied that they send NOC to unfreeze my bank account and only hold the disputed amount, they even shared me proof that they send, but still no reply from the bank side, very disappointed
It’s wise to avoid opening accounts with banks that lack physical branches. Recently, accounts with Jupiter have been unexpectedly frozen without clear justification. This hasn’t been an issue with other banks like Digi Bank by DBS or Kotak 811, which cater to a similar customer base. While Jupiter is in partnership with Federal Bank, the practical support seems lacking. Even raising concerns at Federal Bank branches yields little response. It’s important to note that many traditional banks offer similar benefits without the risk of sudden freezes. So, it’s advisable to steer clear of Jupiter and opt for more reliable options.
I think it is the case because Jupiter and similar banks fall in Neobank category unlike digibank or Kotak 811.
If what you said was true then you can complaint on RBI Ombudsman about Jupiter and Federal bank. Do keep mailing Federal bank and Jupiter and Follow up mail also.

does account freeze affect pots money and investment money?
My account is also blocked by Tamil nadu cyber cell 1 month back. No one is responding. Can you please inform how you contacted them and how you got NOC. Please do the needful
