Online hacking attempt

In this case, Paytm seems to be dropping the ball at every step of the way. Point 1 and 3 are glaring from a customer experience perspective and point 2 from a KYC perspective

@kingzeusvj Axis Bank also seems to be dropping the ball… :disappointed_relieved:

“An OTP, the standard protocol for such transactions, was neither generated nor received on the mobile number linked to the bank account, Maran stated in a post on X”

““Axis Bank was clueless as to how the attack had happened nor could they give any solid explanation for why the OTP was not required from my number for the transaction to take place,” Maran added.”

@alexnazy Need of change in laws regarding security. First you get hacked and then your credit score also takes a hit (so to stop more decline you have to make the payment as no one listens to you).

Yes. Totally!

I have had to fight with ABN Amro Bank. This was a decade ago.

And the threats that they pushed on me. Tough time… Gives me the chills even now.

By the way, I went ahead and made the payment on my Paytm postpaid yesterday as 2nd month was coming. And as per stimulator my score would have further declined by 67 points so took the hard call.

Now, will start the process of clearing all credit lines which are showing even though I am not using them.

** My un-popular advice to fellow members- just don’t register with any available credit line just for sake of taking it.

Well said…

Hope and pray that you get your money back.
