Has this card been officially launched?
Has Jupiter begun approving users?
I can see that the Edge Rupay CC is listed under the ‘Shipped’ category instead of the ‘internal testing’ category.

thanks for clearing this…
I thought they betrayed the customer once again.
@razack Launched as an offering, yes.
Shipping and approving, not yet. That will happen sometime in October/November.
Maybe it’s better to be placed as “Waiting to reach you”.
Will Edge Rupay credit card have minimum age criteria? If so then what could be the minimum age?
Welcome to the community @Dev7
I think 21 is the minimum age required as per both Federal as well as CSB bank. So Mostly, the same applies to Jupiter too
Then most probably I would have to wait to turn 21(currently 20), though I got waitlisted within 100000
Not sure it’s 21.
We can expect a FAQs and a question and answer session on the Edge Rupay CC soon.
@Shawnpinto request to also include “What’s the minimum age to get edge rupay card ?” in the QnA that’s going to happen.
Oh is that so
Good question
Hope it gets answered
@Dev7 no worries… It will get answered. Especially since this is basic stuff.
@razack Good idea. Thanks for sharing.
True. It would be 21. Also, card would be issued as per credit norms prescribed by CSB bank. So, credit score would definitely be an important criteria to avail this card.
@Dev7 Your query is answered by the Boss himself and I hope the doubt is clear.
It reminded me of the ‘Better Luck Next Time’ scratch card by Gpay.
I hope Jupiter soon introduces secured cards too so that everyone can have an opportunity to grab this wonderfully designed card.
Yeah, I will get next yr
One more thing will this card be offered only to Jupiter customers or to others also who don’t have an account but got waitlisted?
My excitement about Rupay credit cards has been considerably watered down by merchants who disable credit card transactions—whose count seems to be on a rapid rise. It’s extremely annoying to first pay with a Rupay credit card only to be told that this merchant hates you. Then you have to start the payment all over again and pay with a bank account.
Of course this isn’t Jupiter specific. But if merchants are going to make credit cards useless for UPI, I don’t have a reason to get any Rupay card.
Agree with the observation.
I am guessing the burden of getting additional KYC done to be eligible to take credit payments on UPI seems to be something that seems to be a hassle for merchants
