Introducing Edge RuPay Credit Card ๐Ÿ’ณ

Welcome to the community @LUKA
If Iโ€™m correct, the card delivery mainly relies on the courier or delivery partner responsible for sending the card to the specified address. You will receive the card if the selected courier is operational in your area; otherwise, they may return it, citing that the specified address is not serviceable.

Means once I selected some Remote Village and said application rejected etc means i cannot take risk. If just the courier issue, what is the courier used by bank ?

@LUKA it is recommended that you reach out to Edge Rupay support get these questions clarified

The selection of a courier partner entirely depends on the bank and I am aware of the selection factors.
Like Yagnesh sir said, you can contact the Edge Support team for more clarifications. You can contact @Lizann_Fernandez

Exactly why simply blame the bank some bluff about them that we have teething issues them
To remind others CSB has a fair size of customers and they have their onboarding systems for savings account,Kyc etc succesfull.I donโ€™t think this would be the problem for them.

CSB with onecard is doing fine then why issues now ?.
All jupiter team does is the hype they create and few community people blindly trust CEO words.

Jiten knows how to create hype around the product.Just launch the product half baked and then fool the people by making them wait.

going by the way the waitlist of more than 100k will have an invite by next year November :stuck_out_tongue:

@Aditya_Kadapatri establishing an integration between 2 systems and ensuring a smooth data exchange can be extremely challenging versus working with your systems where every variable is in your control.

I know the we have been waiting for the mass roll out of the Rupay card and the roll out experience has had its own share hiccups. But letโ€™s not forget most of us would not have the patience to work with the Jupiter team to resolve the bugs that come up in the onboarding process. Imagine the brickbats the community would have subjected the Jupiter team to had a majority of us had a buggy onboarding experience. And letโ€™s not forget no words are being minced as of now.

Folks its seems to be the activation of CSBJupiter Rupay card is dead now

Infact today I got the HDFC rupay credit card in 1 go along with Reglia
They are sending invitations directly rather than boasting about the card
Here we are just advertising the product which doesnโ€™t exist in market as well as near to 0 persons having this card

Claps  the strategy Jupiter have used but failed

Iโ€™m planning to apply for the Rupay card. For those who already got the card, could you answer the below queries:

  1. Was there a hard cibil inquiry by csb bank when you applied for the card?
  2. What about the reward rate, it gives 5% back on what kind of upi spends?

yes. cibil.

upto 5% random.

Upto 5% random points on every spend, or any exclusion categories? Bare min is there a guarantee of lower cap rps atleast, like 1% or something? @BeingIncog

yes, random. minimum you can get is 1% jewels not cb.

Lol weird structure. Why would they gamify this. Doesnโ€™t make sense at all. Customers always need definite assurances for RPs before choosing to swipe a certain card over another.

Exactly. Thatโ€™s why Iโ€™d most likely use something like the Kiwi card than take a chance with a card like this. (Itโ€™s not like Jupiter is issuing the card anyway, so this point is irrelevant as of now.)

FWIW the packaging of the card has some basic issues. As in the packaging looks okay, but basic things like the card activation code and other such things with personal details are stuck with such a strong glue that youโ€™d have a very hard time to remove those stickers containing the activation code etc details, before throwing off the packaging (you would obviously not want your personal card related details to be lurking just like that in the trash right?). Even the most premium cards with the most lavish packaging get this really basic thing right, even if other banks put your details on a sticker itโ€™s not stuck with a really hard glue, itโ€™s just the really light glue which you can easily peel off and destroy before throwing away easily. Forget about the premium banks and cards, even smallish companies like Niyo got this right when you order their debit card (atleast was the case when i got it few years back). Destroying personal details before throwing off packaging is such a basic usecase.

Jupiter needs to understand, all this so called gamification in rewards and transparent card and all that itโ€™s just frivolous. Thereโ€™s a reason why certain banks are leaders in cards inspite of trying to be too cute with packaging and what not. More than card looks and packaging - People want value and consistent value out of their cards, if you canโ€™t offer a consistent value, how will people even use your cards?

Congratulations everyone who are getting card as 999 fees โ€ฆ:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Got the email:

Congratulations , XXXXX!

You are among the first to enjoy benefits of the Edge CSB Bank Credit Card - Powered for UPI!

Now, scan with UPI but pay with a Credit Card.

And then the link takes me to Jupiter app where it shows not eligible. No cibil enquiry, itโ€™s not even letting me apply so why this fake email. Typical Jupitergiri. Will close this account soon in 6 months if they canโ€™t get their act together of fake claims. Creating hype and under delivering.

If am right, it is clearly mentioned under the email message (meaning it is not pre-approved)

โ€œApproval of applicationโ€ ye to anyone with common sense understands that any credit card is subject to approval. But it is not proceeding to the application stage at all. Teasing me via the email and then immediately showing not eligible. Itโ€™s not like they are asking for any details, then the application is being processed and then approved or declined.

Understand the difference between โ€œnot being eligible to applyโ€ and โ€œsubmitted application but declinedโ€.

Ye bug figure out karne mein hi 3-4 mahine gaye already and team still hasnโ€™t got a clue it seems.

My badโ€ฆI thought your application got rejected after clicking on the link and undergoing the steps.

In that case, please do report the issue to edge-csb-support@jupiter.money

I got the same an email(3rd time in last 1 month), same result, you are not eligible.

They are saying โ€œimprove your cibil to get cardโ€, but no cibil enquiry. I have 799 cibil so I dont understand. @Shawnpinto @Jiten
