Folks, while the tech set up on the Jupiter is in their control, partner bankโs tech is not. This is where we as community members need to extend our support. Agreed all of us are waiting for the mass roll out and there have been a few delays. However, once the tech level issues have been resolved, the roll out should be smooth.
To give an example of so called established banks not facing issues, the partnership between Tata Neu and HDFC bank for the Neu Rupay card is facing unforeseen issues especially with cards which have been issued by the bank and not via the Neu App I. Terms of Neu coins getting credited to the Neu App. I have this in writing as I have been facing this issue.
Yes I agree even swiggy hdfc card had a lot of issues at the start so hoping for a smoother rollout in the coming days as and when the issues get fixed.
Thanks for the update @Jiten
Hope you people sort it out real quick and also partner with other banks too which have stable infra unlike this csb bank.
Choosing a bank like CSB as your credit card partner is really surprising. They are totally primitive in Credit card world and they never had a credit card in their whole operational history (Heard OneCard also partnered with them, but didnโt get an opportunity to see it in real life yet). Maybe you get more profitable deals when partnering with them, but again service quality and tech will be always questionable! Same exact situation what Jupiter is going on now with regards to on boarding.
End of the day itโs an underwhelming experience for customer.
Really hoping Jupiter gets the banking licence from RBI soon. Imagine Jupiter not having to rely on a bank using archaic tech and being able to do everything bh themselves? That would be crazy!
Exactly my thoughts. I think Jupiter is held back by their partners who canโt keep pace with them.
But I think itโs just how institutions are and how their cultures are.
Itโs very difficult to join two different things together.
Also I suppose the banks who partner with Neo Banks think of the Neo Banks as a way to acquire new customers rather than expand their own capabilities and grow together.
RBI should think about giving banking licences (at least a Small Finance Bank) to Neo Banks who have proven their mettel.
@BeingIncog any issues you face with the Rupay card onboarding experience, please report it via the support channel. It is being monitored for these issues
I donโt know why Jiten openly pointed fingers at the partner bank, but let usโthe end users and customersโnot make assumptions and blame the bank. There can be any number of reasons for business decisions and technical issues/decisions. Customers questioning those is going to be unproductive.
