Edge Visa Credit Card

You will pay interest and penalties for your own late payments, Banks won’t take somebody else’s charges from you. Banks also makes profit through cross selling, after the customer has onboarded via LTF CC route. So I don’t agree with your views.

Moreover, you have said about slots that are exhausted. So there is nothing like that, first read about the penetration of debit cards and credit cards in India then you will understand that figure of total CCs is way lower then DCs and there is a huge gap to fill and lots of opportunities for Banks to survive even if there is a cutthroat competition.

A long time ago, I have read some views about both of them in Quora answers.

If it’s your hard-earned money, then even Rs. 2 is also important so Rs. 2000 is also important. So try to find solution for your problem, either online or offline.

Well if there are 100k slot target available for LTF from any bank and if out of 100k cc collector (who will only use the card yearly couple of time for offers) are taking away 40K LTF slot then definitely its a deprives others who instead of getting full 100k …now getting 60k … its just a example.
Anyways its okay opinion may vary regarding LTF issuance. Ultimately its upto banks to decide.

Are you Bank Employee, who knows all business strategies from inside. Then keep your assumptions aside.

My views are based on experiences and not assumptions. After observing things happening in reality, I have said all of that.

If Bank will find you Credit Worthy, as per their parameters they will going to approve your general / C2C card application or will send Pre-Approved offer from their end and approve your card. But if they don’t find you Credit Worthy then they will simply reject your application in any case. This is the basic thumb rule behind any card approval.
Parameters of credit worthiness and approval process changes from bank to Bank and from Customer to Customer for the same Bank.

It may be possible that X bank will approve your application for its LTF Card while Y Bank will reject your application for its LTF card made on the same day. So there is nothing to do with quota and all and even if there is a quota or not, if you’re ineligible for particular variant in their eyes then they will not be going to issue it to you anyways.

You took it on the different track, btw I don’t argue with someone, for sake of doing it. My PoVs are always backed by research, logic, experiences and observations.

Kindly, don’t care about who has collected what and what not. Stay focused on your own goals.

If you want to have Jupiter CC then just focus on that. Wishing you a good luck.

Folks, second Saurabh on this. All of us may have conflicting opinions and can express it as well. But let’s ensure it does not turn into a slugfest. Defeats the very purpose of having a community - which is fostering healthy discussions.

Everyone has a different view and have a right to express their opinions.
The whole purpose of the community is bringing the customers together on a platform where the team can understand what a customer expects in terms of experience and products.
While one may have a right to criticize the product, at the same time he should also be soft and sensible while doing it instead of using the harsh language.
The same applies to the people who are in favor of the company’s decisions too. They should take the negative reviews in a positive manner and look at the areas that can be improved.
Credit has to be given where it is due and at the same time, one should be honest and sensible while providing his review on the experience and product.
So, no point in having the community divided into people confronting each other.
Hope every participant of the community realise this and respect each other’s opinions and convey the team what a user is expecting reasonably.

@Jiten . I hope company is focusing on issuing the cards on Rupay network too as it’s the hottest market right now and can be a USP for Jupiter and also gives flexibility to the user.

While I agree, providing the card LTF will be a revenue loss for the bank, there is no such thing like injustice to the people who are in waitlist for the slots. Ultimately, any bank will try to cater every customer whether he uses the card or not as it will increase the share of the credit card company’s in the market and that’s what is needed for the companies to show their growth criteria and market penetration strategy.
If a company has to grow, they need to consider how other market players are offering the products and what they can do to capture the market share by offering a unique features.
While am not against charging the fees for the product, the fees paid should also be worth it. If a customer feels the market has way better products, why would he adopt for the card which provide him less benefits.

Dear @Suja777 Welcome to the community.
The application process for Jupiter Edge Credit Card is yet to begin. The card is still in its beta testing stage. :credit_card:
Since you got SBI, PNB, and Axis Credit Cards, with the same village address, I don’t think there would be any issue when you apply. :+1:t2:
Please stay connected with the Community for more updates like eligibility criteria, the process of application etc.
