Bullet Comeback

Not allowing customised UPI id is a huge privacy concern but I would also want them to not launch bullet as a separate app now. I can’t have too many apps on my phone. Why not integrate it with Jupiter. I would not use it now if it’s a separate app. I have already uninstalled it.

It’s okay if there’s no option to customise your UPI ID but your primary mobile number should not be there in the UPI ID.

My Fi UPI ID is not customisable but still I don’t have a problem with it since it only has my name in it.

I have noticed major UPI apps like Paytm and PhonePe also don’t allow new users to customise their UPI ID.

I think they have been doing this to prevent misuses.

Generally people don’t have multiple mobile numbers. It’s crazy to use more than 1 number except i don’t know maybe few people.
So yeah, UPI id should be customisable. I know many stopped allowing it for fraud issues but it’s not acceptable to publicly out people’s numbers. What if user is a girl!?
Thank God except Jupiter and bullet I have custom UPI id everywhere which is my name

@Shawnpinto Do we have a particular date or we have to wait little more for Bullet to relaunch?

While we wait for the Bullet relaunch, LazyPay just switched to a monthly billing cycle by increasing the repayment period from 15 to 30 days :eyes:

Goddamn it! I just got into a twitter spat with them two days ago, for screwing me over n charging me two days after I used their services.

They told me it’s 15 days and I can pound sand. A second after I pay the bill, and they do this.

I’m furious lol.

Bullet is no more part of Amica Financial Technologies Private Limited. I think its been sold to LivQuik Technology India Private Limited

Not really

Not sure if it’s an acquisition. Looks like a joint venture to me. Livquik is a fintech service provider who share their tech stack to enable lending business :eyes:

And, a JV most probably to get around some RBI rules

Likely… which BNPL can compete neck to neck with Bullet ? Haven’t used any and it’s no longer owned by Jupiter it seems.
