What is the process for picking up a checkbook from the nearest Federal Bank?
Is it even possible or do we have to opt for home delivery? It would be better if we could have the option to collect it directly from the bank.
You can easily order a cheque book from the Jupiter app. Also itâs more convenient than visiting the branch. Youâll get it in your address within 4-5days.
There is a branch nearby. So I could go there and collect it as well. Home delivery would be convenient but there must be flexibility as well.
I guess this option is not there.
And if this is not your first cheque book, there might be charges involved. Jupiter does mention that during account opening process or the welcome kit or while placing the first order. I am not completely sure, where did i see it, but i remember seeing it.
First cheque book of 5 leaves is free of cost. But for additional request itâll be charged 100rs+GST.
20 rs per cheque is a lot prefer not taking it idfc first bank has unlimited cheque book for free
Pratyay, we should consider the fact the IDFC First is full fledged bank and not a Neo bank.
thatâs also correct full fledged banks earns most from debts but neo banks canât offer loans of big amounts
@Siddharth_B_R At present there is no such option in the app. But there is an option in the Jupiter App for ordering your first chequebook for free of cost and getting it delivered to your home address.
This feedback/suggestion seems to be interesting. Jupiter Team can consider adding the two Options whether the customer needs it delivered or picked up from the nearest Federal bank branch. Customers can choose the one which is convenient.
Abdul, if Federal Bank is passing on the cost of maintaining virtual cards to Jupiter, they will for sure charge them for collecting the cheque book from the branch. Which would mean, the charge will be passed in to us. And then, all hell will break loose, all over again.
Alec, the is very long. Please report this via the support channel to get this checked.
Send them an email with all the details.
Thatâs long. There is a scope of improvement.
Letâs work wit the Jupiter team on this. There could be multiple factors involved that we are not privy to.
sbi also takes about 10 -15 days for new accounts and about 15- 20 days for old accounts
In my experience, most of the banks use IndiaPost speed post facility for delivering cards and chequebooks and from my personal experience Indiapost is far better than so-called new-generation private courier service providers.
Yes. I agree with your observation regarding their lack of professionalism. Numerous banks opt for their services due to their extensive network of âbranchesâ spread across various localities. Certain postman does this thing of marking âdeliveredâ too, but, they donât do deliver actually.
I can understand your frustration. It has been 13 days (including holidays) since you made the request for the chequebook. I sincerely hope that it will be dispatched promptly and reach you this week.
Sorry bro but I strongly disagree with you. I usually export goods in India as well as internationally through the Indian post itself. Itâs the cheapest and kinda good. Talking about complaints register them through the website and follow the matrix like a nodal officer and then the central government website if the issue is not resolved. They charge 270 and private players charge 7000-8000 for the same.
Itâs not possible, if your data mismatch or undelivered itâs returns to the federal Bank Head office. Their is no way to collecting from nearby branch like others bank.
