Pick Up of Cheque Book from nearest Federal Bank

Many govt banks and some private bank usually use Indian Post for delivery the cheque book because it’s cheaper than others and also safest than others.

Sani bro, @Siddharth_B_R initiated this thread as a suggestion or feedback to address these issues. His suggestion is to add an option in the app, to pick up the chequebook from the nearby federal bank instead of delivering it to the home address. :+1:
This feature or feedback could address issues like delays, returns etc.

i have never faced any issues due to india post they are reliable. Have used india post 7-8 years ago a lot never faced any issues back then too. amazon used to deliver products with india post in my area then their tracking service is good too. it’s cheap and reliable too

HDFC uses blue dart and delivered my card and account kit in 2 days.

Folks, once again. Let’s not dilute the intention of this thread which was to propose if a cheque book can be picked up from a federal bank branch.

Au , ICICI, ujjivann, bob , axis also use bluedart, and their service really too fast and safest…

You need to visit your post office or call them with your tracking number and ID

Federal Bank don’t take any responsibility of neo bank like Jupiter, fi , Ind money or one card …

I want to share one experience: when i opened 1st time in ICICI Bank, i have some data mismatch in addhar card that’s reason my kit failed and undelivered and return to the regional head office…(. 1st 2 time by bluedart and DTDC) … Then they say they will send me by Indian Post if that’s also failed, you can collect it from any branch as u choose with Addhar Card. Then when they sent me by Indian Post i collect it from post office

The cheque book won’t be automatically delivered upon account creation, you can easily order it from the app at free of cost whenever you need.
