Will it require email access like cred and fold money or it can be used just by sms access?

It will only access credit card statement emails.

So, in the backend it requires access to our emails similar to how sms for bank account balance works?

Yes @Pratyushh , it requires access to look into ONLY credit card statement emails as a source to provide you insights. It is very similar to how insights from SMS work.

There will some privacy and confidential data , it’s a beta testing and it’s might be seen by your team or may be leaked for any glitch.

In previous Mobiquik , Paytm, cred , icici bank imoney, axis etc. asked me for email access permissions for categorised details of my spending and credit. I don’t give them due to security issues, they also asked for DOB, full name, pan card number, registered mobile number ( they also have in their system during kyc or registration) for unlock password protected PDF ( statement) . Even I also don’t give my primary email id to NiyoX and Fi money , they need gmail access to login their app. Many Bank and payment system still send OTP in email or email access and verify link to email, if it in unauthorised hand their will be issue.

If it’s data fatched the data from SMS, credit bureaus, tokenization saved card details, financial aggregator then it’s will be ok , my mobile give permission or allow to read SMS when only I’m using the app. And it’s only trusted banking app not to 3rd party payment app or any others app or Truecaller. Those app setted to no background running and background data permission.

But this feature is cool and smart, people don’t have to time for accounting their spending. Jupiter app one umbrella feature always good.

Already registered, hope their will not any security issues for the end of Jupiter team during this beta testing or stable in future.

@Here_Now Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns about data security and privacy. We completely understand how important this is and want to assure you that we take it very seriously.
To address your concerns: we only support Gmail for this feature, leveraging Gmail’s advanced security protocols to ensure your data remains protected.
You will receive a verification prompt directly from Google when linking your email.
Access to your credit card bill statements is only granted once you explicitly approve it.
All data is handled in compliance with strict security and privacy standards, ensuring its safety both during beta testing and in the future.
We truly value your trust and feedback. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

@sani, playstore takes 3 days to live the update to users because of playstores server limits. You must be able to update latest by Sunday

Hope you are liking it, Please describe a Bug if any, @Vaibhav_Jain

Is there any way we can turn off the " screenshot cannot be taken" security feature in jupiter app?

As of now i found a bug,but don’t have another phone with me to capture photo.
The bug is: i have few icici cards linked to same statement. So in transactions history on top of it,we have option to select which credit card’s transaction do i want to see. But i see " rubyx " card multiple times, may be it is repeating for other cards ( coral, manchester, etc), but as statement is same it is showing name of first card in statement “rubyx”

No man we cannot trespass security guidelines, but Your bug is noted and will update you soon. Technically, you are the winner right now :joy::joy:.

Thank you for reporting.

p
Check on top, rubyx is showing up multiple times

It is showing same name for different cards ending with different numbers ( hpcl, coral, etc)

One good part is that all outstanding balance is also reflecting in net-worth tab. So we can check bank balance and current credit card bills remaining to be paid. I hope as we pay bills ,jupiter detects it(if paid via jupiter app), and reduce the equivalent amount from liabilities
