Yes. I was wondering about that.

Letโ€™s say now that UPI is available in foreign countries like Singapore, UAE, Nepal, Bhutan, France, etc - at least theoretically. UPI may not be universal in these countries yet and you canโ€™t rely on UPI aloneโ€ฆ

Ofcourse UPI is different from Rupay.

Why canโ€™t we spend using Rupay abroad? One reason I can think of is support. Discover network is used for international transactions (spending from India) using Rupay cards. And they may not want to support Rupay for foreign transactions (from foreign land).

I donโ€™t know. Any comments on this is appreciated.

Hi Shawn, could you provide us the list of lounges that will be supported for this credit card.
It will help us make a decision better.
And how many lounge access are we planning to give? 1 per quarter or 2.

@Nikhil_Godbole this is bound to happen. Itโ€™s only human.

For example many good movies have flopped because of the huge expectations and the movie being unable to satisfy that.

So there should be a control of time (must be short) between tease and release.

This new release is excellent. I am just waiting to get my hands on it. I have been searching for some good credit cards now and I think this is a good pick since I am already a heavy Jupiter user. I have loved the current offerings by them and I guess this would be up to the mark as well.

Q1. When will we all get it? Not the beta release. Public release.
Q2. Are people who have Edge (Visa) credit card eligible for Edge RuPay credit card?
Q3. Is the waiting list from the app valid or is the waiting list from website valid? Or both are valid?
Q4. When you say upto 5% cashback, is it only for specific categories. In that case what is the reward rate for general category? Are there any exceptions?
Q5. Is the lounge access for airports or railway stations?

Asking my previous question again (to get officially reply). Will non Jupiter account holders be apple to apply for Edge Rupay Credit Cards. I get this doubt because I was able to join the whitelist without having an account with Jupiter. While it does say - โ€œExclusive to Jupiter appโ€ Jupiter is also undergoing decoupling so that means can I get this CC without having Jupiter account?
