I got notification for life time free offer for edge visa credit card

When I clicked it opened in application and showing valid till 20 December and written ,

“Get it zero for annual fee + 999 Zero annual fee”

This is totally confusing , 999 also written so is it 999 chargeable if we didn’t spent 1.2 lac or it’s completely free regardless of any spend?
