True, I cannot apply it because I am a existing customer but it still makes more sense, at the end of the day a metal debit is more of a luxury and many are willing to pay for it but ₹7.5/10 k is too high for most people especially when joining benefits are this low, I got IDFC Mayura the most beautiful metal card in India last year for free, jupiter needs to make some serious changes to the offering.
While it’s true that these are currently available to new customers, take a closer look at the offerings. They provide a flat 5% cashback (up to a certain limit), along with 4 domestic lounge accesses, B1G1 movie tickets, and other perks. That said, I believe Kotak 811 offers more practicality compared to Jupiter. In fact, I think it outshines Jupiter in most aspects.

Any updates? Also, I was reading that people can buy cars and propwrties using credit card too, full purchases.
I am inclined towards getting my first credit card with jupiter but I need more info on it’s working [alongside this metal card that will be], how to plan things and benefits for optimized use.
Anyone knows how that works and what should be the strategy to plan how to use debit and credit cards to the best and is it worth taking a credit card?

Only premium/ultra premium provide benefits on such big purchases, you can convert those points for air miles or hotel points
