Unable to add Jupiter card to the Google Pay contactless payments

The new feature of google pay which uses bank cards as payment features without using upi pin or card pin doesn’t support Jupiter cards.
Kindly look into that.
It says that the card is not supported.
That feature uses NFC from device for merchant payments.

Any update with this feature? It is going to be really useful if we get this as I can officially say that we do not need a wallet in India, but we can pay anytime and anywhere. Not every place is accepting UPI but they do accept Card (Strange, cos MDR for UPI is 0 vs 2% for the Cards… Never Mind)
