Hi Jupiter team,
I’m a long-time user and I need help with a few issues that are hurting the usefulness of the app for me:
-
Email statement import (SBI credit card)
-
Issue: The app isn’t linking my SBI credit card statements from my email. The statement is in my inbox, but Jupiter doesn’t fetch and surface the transactions.
-
Expected: Detect the SBI statement from email and auto-ingest the transactions into Insights/Tracking.
-
-
Credit-card bill payment shows as one lump sum
-
Issue: When I pay my credit-card bill, the tracker records it as a single “Paid credit card bill — ₹X” expense. I can’t see or categorize the underlying spends that make up that bill.
-
Request: Let me expand a bill and categorize the constituent transactions (groceries, utilities, fuel, etc.), so my spending analytics remain accurate instead of showing one large “uncategorized” payment.
-
-
Can’t remove a linked account (screen shows technical error)
-
Issue: I tried to remove a previously added account. Guides say to go to Money → (Net worth/Linked accounts), then Remove. But the screen throws a technical problem and asks me to refresh. I’ve updated the app; still the same.
-
Request: Please fix the unlink flow. If there’s a temporary backend issue, kindly remove the account from your side.
-
-
Manual statement upload (fallback)
- Request: If email parsing fails, please provide an option to upload a credit-card statement (PDF) so the app can parse and categorize transactions as a fallback.
-
Hide or exclude specific transactions
- Request: Please add a way to hide/exclude individual transactions from overall tracking (spend, cash-flow, credit views). This is useful for reimbursements, duplicate entries, or sensitive spends that I don’t want reflected in totals.
These are basic personal-finance workflows; without them, the tracker becomes misleading (a big bill payment skews “spends”), and the account management friction is high.
