Mutual fund Redemption amount not transfered

I redeemed the invested amount in ICICI mutual funds on saturday. On monday received a message reading the process is being done . Its thursday and yet no amount transfered in my account .

I had done that

It was ICICI Prudential Savings Fund - Direct Plan - Growth (formerly ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund - Flexible Income Plan) (Non-Demat)

Does any investing company gives out cheque instead of directly transfering money ? Since the sms received did stated that the redemtion is processed with the issuance of cheque.
