Jupiter feedback (sms reading other banks)

Please remove feature if reading other bank sms , not appreciated at all fir me. Atleast ask permission to do it, and allow users to optin or optout for this.
Not a real confidence and trust builder suddenly seeing other bank info in my Jupiter app

Note that you have the freedom to deny “access messages” permission for Jupiter from your phone settings.
Jupiter accesses messages for various purposes other than networth, like auto fetch OTP, set up UPI and stuff.

but that will hamper UPI and OTP related stuff
there should be a specific option to not try the networth feature

There is an option to remove bank account and tracking. On networth page, click on 3 dots beside bank account name.

I thought the OP was truly concerned about privacy hence gave this solution. Turning off networth feature is just a placebo. Jupiter can still read any message. One really has to trust Jupiter in this. Either you go all in or all out, there is nothing in between here.

I don’t think you need SMS permissions once you have activated your UPI.
You’ll only need it if you logout from your account on Jupiter often.

There isn’t any SMS read requirement post that, if you don’t want the Networth feature.
