Good observation. I am sure we they finalise the offering for larger roll out, it will be addressed.
Good find. Adding this as well.
It appears that you may have missed this, @Shawnpinto. Could you please consider adding it to the list, if it is possible?
@Shawnpinto
I have encountered another problem with BSNL recharges. Today, I attempted to recharge my friendās number. After entering the number, BSNL was auto-selected, and the available plans were displayed. However, after selecting a plan, the message "Bill Not Found " appeared. Selected another plan, and got the same error message.
This could be because the biller has not been completely integrated or there is an issue with the API pulling the data
Has BSNL started appearing as an operator for recharge?
Not yet broā¦But BSNL numbers are getting auto-selected as āBSNLā and are showing BSNL Recharge plans
I have not even got a prepaid recharge window yet in my AppšYou guys are lucky thenš
Update:
This is picked up! We should see another update with these suggestions added.
We noticed there are some issues with BSNL, weāre working on it.
Aiming to get it fixed by this weekend or the next.
Weāve thinking about the rest too.
What did the team say about this?
I am asking casually to know their take on it so that I can improve my skills.
@Devansh_Bartwal It currently shows all the contacts when you tap on mobile prepaid.
Itās important to sync them.
How the flow goes:
Bill payments tab > Mobile prepaid > Pop up for syncing > search bar & contacts > checks which operators the person has & shows the plans at the same time > browsing plans > selection & payment > confirm
I mean itās not necessary to show all contacts. We can put a contact logo then if someone clicks on the logo then all numbers should come. It will make the experience clean.
Yes I agree with @Devansh_Bartwal the experience will also be better as you can just load the recents which will be faster instead of loading the entire contacts, if user needs then can click on a button and access all the contacts.
Debatable. But weāre going ahead with the current flow for now. Plus, this is the first version of mobile prepaid! Lots of tweaks to be made here.
Also, mobile prepaid is now live for all users!
@saurabh.s @iAmAlanSabu can you check if you have access to this?
Got it boss ā¦Let my try this and will post my review soon!!
@Shawnpinto
Got the access
Thanks for confirming!
Test it out and share your experience with us
Today, I got the new prepaid recharge feature, and Iād like to share what I find. During the testing, I discovered that if I manually entered a number with fewer than 10 digits and proceeded, the system prompted me to select the operator. (However, it was unable to automatically detect the operator, which is understandable because the entered number was not valid.)
When I closed the prompt to select the operator and proceeded further, the system displayed a screen indicating that it was unable to fetch plans.
In my opinion, instead of allowing the process to continue with a number that has fewer than 10 digits, the system should provide a helpful alert informing the user that the entered number is invalid. It is highly unlikely that a valid prepaid mobile number in India would have less than 10 digits.
By implementing this improvement, this will preventing unnecessary steps and confusion in the recharge process.
Out of curiosity , I attempted recharge option using the same number with GPay, Paytm, and Postpe (which utilizes Bharat Bill Pay and to see if it was a common issue). However, I couldnāt proceed any further as none of the three apps enabled the next icon.
As you suggested, showing some writing like on GPAY or enabling the next button only when the 10 digits are entered, can help a user a lot.

This is good feedback!
