Update: The issue for 9 digits and below will be fixed in the next app release.
Thanks for raising it @saurabh.s
Auto-selection of operator is incorrect for some numbers.
I believe that happens on other apps as well
@ManishSaini As said by @yagnesh01 sir, it happens with other apps too. The issue is common with most of the ported numbers (MNP), especially with those ported recently.
Thank you for the recent update!
Now I am able to view the recently recharged phone numbers. It’s almost like having the feature of marking favourites as suggested by me.
some down, many to go
This one too is solved, now I can see the JIO 19 and 29 plans
Can see the MTNL option, means the BSNL too is here soon
#bug-hunters @AbhishekSaraswat
See the blank space below the results while searching?
Here is how I got this issue:
- Selected a number
- Swiped up the screen up until I could get search bar on the top. (This step caused the bug)
- Searched for the query
I have made a screen recording if the explanation is not enough: Bill payment bug jupiter - YouTube
Edit: could find other bugs regarding searching too
-
see the position of results? Happened when i choose the second category of plan and search for a string
-
if I select 3rd category and search then results appear in the middle
-
4th category resets to the left alignment
This is a good find @Aswin_Benny
Thanks!
working seamlessly
Update: BSNL should work now
show cost/day to choose better recharge plan and save some extra money. Have shared an example for reference
This suggestion for the cost/day feature seems very valid and interesting.
Yes, Users can choose better recharge plan by comparing this feature
Do any other app offer this feature?
(I haven’t seen it anywhere else before)
freecharge has the same feature I always use freecharge website to compare plans
This is a good feature. Usually I do it manually
Freecharge used to enjoy significant popularity in our area at one point. However, with the emergence of PayTM and Gpay and its extensive marketing and advertising efforts, no one here talks about Freecharge anymore. Even I completely forgot about the Freecharge app.
Interesting fact is that both Freecharge and PayTM was founded during the same period, August 2010.
freecharge is used in uts app as a payment gateway
axis is just selling their products extensively on freecharge i too don’t use freecharge app just use their site to compare recharge plans
A very useful feature. Agreed.
From a usage perspective, when it comes to usage perspective, users typically look for set time periods, would not compare the per day price
but one can save some annually comparing cost per day
Indeed, that’s an good feature suggestion. The Airtel app has a similar feature that displays the per month cost.
240 for a month means 240/30 = 8 Rs.
8 x 90 days 720 Rs.
But the cost is 719 for 84 days
This was the calculation that came to my mind at first, only after realized for Telecom companies a month consist of only 28 days
So that’s why, I think, the cost/day is a better option than cost/month
This is useful!
@AbhishekSaraswat let’s see if we can have this
