Introducing Edge RuPay Credit Card ๐Ÿ’ณ

Donโ€™t you think even before approval, key features of the card should be made known to potential users ?
You or me or others might not want to proceed with the application process if the features donโ€™t fulfill our individual needs.
Nobody wants to get a CIBIL hit that could be avoided.

Agree! @Krishnendu_Chowdhury

Just scroll up a bit.
Looks like you missed my question about FAQs above :joy:

I think they have not yet decided on the reward rate, they did a poll earlier in which they asked the community users which combination of reward rate would we prefer. I think the rewards and features might change because they are launching it too soon, most credit cards that weโ€™re announced at the fintech fest are no way near launching and many of them are just rupay variants of earlier existing cards.

God knows how Jupiter team plans all this. @Shawnpinto had earlier said a FAQs will be made available. Now @Jiten says card is being rolled out. All this is happening without telling the customers what they are actually offering with the product and what are the features of the card.

Implementation and planning of the product launch, these guys need to work a lot on that.

If the rewards and features change too soon after taking up the card, it wonโ€™t sit well with the customers.

Anybody get access to card yet?

Not yet. Guess, it is still in internal beta stage at Jupiter itself

As i mentioned it will still take 1-2 years for external users or Jupiter user other than internals.

Hey @RSKYAKK There is nothing like thatโ€ฆOnce they launch it for external users after the testing is over, I think it may done in batches, say first 10000 or 20000 eligible users and not 50 as mentioned for internal users

Big merchants like Decthalon, Jio mart are opting out of Rupay Upi credit card transactions.

Yes but big merchants have cc machines which accept tap and pay so you donโ€™t need to carry your card gpay, cred, bhim and Paytm support tap and pay. If small merchants donโ€™t have to pay a high mdr then rupay credit card can still be very successful.

Yes I donโ€™t understand the logic behind 1-2 years

frustration

Itโ€™s not the frustration, post against Deadline which was mentioned by CEO of Jupiter. Nothing else

I have not heard of any other bank giving an exact date for the release of any of their products yet

Understand your frustration but we are still seeing bank system issues in KYC process. That being said, we are thinking that we should start roll out slowly from this week itself and fix issues on the go assuming all are friends of Jupiter anyway . So they wonโ€™t bash us for teething issues.

Please no thinking again now :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Just start the roll out and you people can fix the issues in the process.
Eagerly waiting since last month to get our hands on the transculent card.
Iโ€™m more interested in the card design now.

Even if it gets approved with a credit limit of 5000, I am ok.
I need that unique card :grinning:

Slowly means 10k or 1k or 100 users per week? Just to understand the wait time as my waitlist number is 57k

I am now more excited to see the FAQ than rollout of the card :see_no_evil:
