I’m well aware that banks have criteria for issuing credit cards to customers. If you check my message, I was talking about the ‘option to apply for the card’.
Do you have the option to apply for the card on the app?
Almost all banks offer everyone the option to apply for their card. They then assess eligibility criteria and approve or reject applications based on them.
You can join the waitlist with just an email. What they can probably check is whether the email is associated with a Jupiter account or not. Is it possible for them to get all of our financial background details from an email?
What I meant is they’re not offering the option to apply for this card based on FCFS. It’s probably random or depends on the Jupiter account linked to the email.
I mean no offence to anyone.
But the community champions and council team should support the community’s views and opinions instead of just acting on behalf of Jupiter team like their unofficial service department.
I was told by one of the members that when a community champion requested and complained about the address change request which is not being provided by the jupiter team, he was ripped of the community champion status. These kind of incidents send a very bad message and there’s no use of building such community if these kinda things happen.
From my experience, it is different. I have seen banks using any of the following or the combination of the following. There could be other factors too.Algo is only known to them.
Credits score
Age of the oldest CC
Location
Age
Salary, company or type of employment
Number of loan accounts (Never seen anyone denied a card because of this).
Bank balance or transactions (If you have an account)
I have seen people with really good credit score and salary getting rejected while a student with no salary getting accepted. (Eg. I was recently offered tata neu infinity with 1.5Lakhs limit and I was denied kotak’s CC because my district is not in their serviceable location).
Maybe I am wrong.
I was selected for the federal Bank testing but I forgot that my Jupiter account is connected with a different number than my fold account, they said connecting account with different number is possible on iOS and will be available for Android soon
If you have PAN details of Jupiter account holder then why taking time for update on Edge Rupay Credit Card. 1st eliminate the account holders who is not eligible for card. Provide update on their app as not eligible. You are making customer fool on Community page. Every time getting stupid excuses from your side.
Now tho interest is getting decreased. Low wait list people are not getting card. At least check our eligibility and let us knw if it is rejected or approved. İnstead of having waitlist for no reason
So, is Jupiter checking our PAN and credit score details to even give the option to apply for the Edge card? Anyway, there were no such details that Jupiter would collect our credit score when we joined the waitlist as far as I remember. And I think even entering the PAN was optional.
NVM, no problem. I’m still disappointed in the waitlist system, as I’m still not sure if it’s FCFS.
Cause if it’s a first-come, first-served system and there was an eligibility check to give the ‘option to apply’ the card, then most of you guys here with the lowest waitlist numbers were rejected by Jupiter.
Basically the waiting list was just to hype the card . They only give this to selected people. Atleast Fi says you are not eligible for the card at the moment .
Tbh, I don’t even know why they created a waitlist number system. The waitlist number is useless for customers if it’s not first-come first-served. The number has no value.
Based on the Jupiter team’s responses, the rollout is determined by some ‘factors’ and not the waitlist number.
So, I think it’s better to blame the ones who designed and created the waitlist number system. They even failed in implementing it properly.
