I got SMS from jio payments bank as “Your CKYC has been updated”, though I didn’t do any. In Jupiter’s trello also I have seen this CKYC. I know only about EKYC. What does this CKYC mean?

CKYC works as a centralised repository of KYC records. Once the KYC documents are submitted by an individual, they are registered in the repository with a unique CKYC number. The CKYC number can be quoted instead of submitting physical KYC documents for any financial transaction. The CKYC repository can be accessed by financial institutes for verifying the KYC details of the customer.

Ckyc is like your visiting card, where your all kyc information stored by government.
After 1st time ckyc registration by any financial institution… They’re sent you a unique Ckyc number… It’s like addhar number… U can done your kyc without submission any documents… Just give your ckyc number and your kyc done.
It’s basically Store your pan number, addhar number, mobile number, email address, address, your name, dob, and a photo

What is the process of completing CKYC
