UPI transactions blocked by Jupiter

Hey, on 8th April i reported two unauthorised fraud transactions, yesterday that is 9th April, my UPI transactions stopped going through and now are blocked. My complain tickets for fraud transactions are still open which states that I’ll be updated on email regarding everything but I did not receive any email. Moreover, no intimation was sent to me regarding blocking of my upi payments, now I’m not even sure if debit card withdrawal is working or has it been blocked by the jupiter team as well. Is there any fix time for this blocked transaction play? Since this is my primary account since some time now, I don’t have any other means to make payments, can someone from team help me regarding this? When will my account be unfrozen ?

Hi Akshat! Please don’t worry—the temporary block during a dispute is just a standard security measure to keep your account safe.

To easily unblock it, simply chat with our bot, select the failed transaction, and submit an unblocking request. Your request will be automatically processed within two working days. If the bot doesn’t do the trick, just reach out to our support team and they will gladly help you sort it out!

Hello, thank you for responding. May I simply know the status of my complaint and whether anything will be done regarding the fraud transaction?

No issues, Akshat. You can see the status of the complaint in the Help Section > View all tickets and if its not visible there, you can send your registered details over DM and we can check the status.

Rest assured, we action all the disputes raised and you will get the updated directly to your registered email ID. But since this process of dispute includes multiple partners, the timeline is extended as well which would take 90 days at max.

Akshat, if the status of the tickets is Open, it is being looked by our team. I am seeing the same details as well. If the status changes to resolve, you would receive the email regarding the final information from the Bank.

I also see that you wrote to our Grievance team. But I hope the information I shared has helped you in getting your UPI unblocked. You can use your debit card and bank transfers seamlessly meanwhile.

This issue has completely disrupted my ability to access and use my own funds.

Despite multiple attempts to seek support:

Jupiter customer care kept me on hold for long durations and redirected me to Federal Bank.

Federal Bank customer care redirected me back to Jupiter.

This continuous back-and-forth without any resolution clearly reflects a lack of coordination, accountability, and extremely poor customer service.

As a result of this issue:

My account is effectively unusable.

I am unable to carry out essential financial transactions.

I have suffered significant inconvenience, mental stress, and harassment.

I request you to:

Immediately unblock my account and restore full transaction functionality.

Provide a clear explanation for the issue and actions taken.

Ensure such incidents do not occur again in the future.

Please treat this matter as URGENT and resolve it within 24–48 hours of receiving this email.

If my issue is not resolved within the given timeframe, I will be compelled to escalate this matter by filing formal complaints with:

RBI Banking Ombudsman (CMS Portal)

Consumer Court for deficiency in service and mental harassment

I will also be seeking appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and mental harassment caused due to this issue.

Kindly note that based on partner bank’s review, they suspect that your UPI credentials may have been compromised. As a proactive security measure, the UPI/IMPS transaction facility has been temporarily disabled.

You can simply reply on the email received from Federal bank to lift the restrictions. Meanwhile, if you wish to access funds immediately, you can transfer using NEFT via Jupiter app.
