Update: When can existing federal bank customers open a Jupiter account?

That was my point. We become direct customers of the Bank. But have you got any confirmation from Niyoโ€™s end from their side that they are breaking the alliance? No, right. You must have ask them on Email or on play store comment. Then, you must have got an reply from them. This is what concerns me.

Iโ€™m using Niyo IDFC IDFC says to contact directly Niyo if Niyo has closed there service then how can they help.

So thatโ€™s why but still using that account also a good chance of Credit card from Idfc.

Didnโ€™t Niyo offered that saving account? Then, should not they inform their customers about the ending of alliance between the Bank and Niyo?

I didnโ€™t receive anything from them. But in the Niyo IDFC app they were requesting in a banner to download IDFC new app and Niyo IDFC will not be functioning from July 15. And on 16th they deleted that app from Play store itself.

@Jiten Can you shed some light on this thread?

Hey Alan, you and I canโ€™t predict the future.

But what you and everyone on Jupiter can be assured of is you will never stay in the blind. We believe in transparent communication and you would never suffer because of an untoward development (if there was one).

Thankyou for rooting for Jupiterโ€™s longterm success as always!

Hi @sneh.baxi

Seems like you are in full swing with philosophy today. Lol! Joke

So, still no confirmation on date for existing Federal Bank customers?

Previously they said estimated date of 20 jul letโ€™s see.

Current status is that we have completed dev on this. As on date, it is in testing phase. As soon as, all stakeholders have done QA, we should release it for community members first. Reason of not giving date is that we want to be sure that all cases are successfully tested and sometimes you come across unknown issues.

@sneh.baxi @Jiten I can understand that an exact date confirmation wonโ€™t be possible as of now but, can we have an estimation of the timeline by which this will be released to the community members/Firstlist holders.

As per @Jiten existing federal bank customer onboard from 20th july. But I donโ€™t think that it will be possible now as per there last comment.
So no one knows the exect date when can existing customers onboarding process starts.

Also this is just my thoughts that creating a lot of hype and then taking a lot of time or extending dates after dates not good at all.
Here in jupiter community only few members are connected even they are not yet able to use Jupiter.
Cause creating hype is good but with time it will automatically vanished.
Still thereโ€™s a lot of bugs in app (as userโ€™s are posting here or on YouTube) donโ€™t know how fi.money has managed even they are also in beta but I donโ€™t see any bug in there app till date.
Itโ€™s depends on dev cause I donโ€™t have software knowledge so might be theyโ€™re facing some unforeseen issue with the app. Hope a fix/bug free experience will be there soon.

Even I am existing federal bank account holder but I am unable to go forward. It still says existing federal bank account users cannot open Jupiter account right now.

Hi Amit are you sure you have an existing federal bank account?
Because we are still building a way to onboard existing to bank users

You are existing customer then how your account was opened?

Itโ€™s impossible.

Hah, you got it. we are waiting here like so long
