I am seeing this today on the app…

“Our services will be unavailable from 2 AM to 4 AM (morning hours) on September 27th for system upgrades. Please plan transactions accordingly.”

This is great. Please keep this up. Makes us customers aware of the situation and be prepared for the same.

AFAIK, Citibank used to do it. #RIP. God rest it’s soul (in India).

But Citibank used to send an SMS as well. So maybe Jupiter can also think about WhatsApp or SMS notifications.

Federal Bank upi down

For providing notification alerts for unavailable services

In any case if any services are down at a moment can you guys please provide notifications in our notification banner out of the app, Cause it’s not possible every time to open the app to see. Just like the money received notification please provide these notifications also, because it’s very stressful when unknowingly upi or card transactions got failed or stuck. Also Please try to make the app more smoother. I’m really happy with Jupiter… keep going @Jiten @JupiterTeam

If I am wrong, Jupiter has issued similar notifications in the past. Therefore, it might be more appropriate to post this as additional information rather than creating a separate thread.
