If you are a Jupiter account holder, never correct any spelling errors in your PAN or Aadhaar details. If you do so, your subsequent VKYC may not be completed successfully. You may face an Aadhaar and PAN document mismatch issue, and your account could be closed due to incomplete VKYC. This is a problem that I have personally experienced.
Their technical system seems quite strange. Does correcting a spelling mistake change the PAN or Aadhaar number itself? Due to their inability to resolve such issues, they close accounts citing RBI guidelines as the reason. Neither are they improving the system, nor are they providing an option to open a new account.
Thanks for your interesting feedback. If there is a spelling mistake in the PAN or Aadhaar card, it should be corrected there and at priority, it is important for each individual to own that responsibility. VKYC agents have no other way to know than checking the valid govt approved documents what the spelling should be. This is not only limited to Jupiter or Federal bank but every banking institution in India!
