Well, it’s 2026, and I still can’t add my Jupiter debit card to Google Pay for NFC tap-to-pay because it says the bank doesn’t support it.
Please make this happen.
Last month, I was out of town for a week, and I ended up using my Kotak811 account as my primary account simply because its debit card works with Google Pay’s NFC tap-to-pay. It was much more convenient to pay directly from my phone without carrying my physical card.
I know UPI is always an option, but NFC tap-to-pay is a different experience altogether. Since Jupiter is a digital-first neobank, I think users can reasonably expect this feature by now.
This is honestly one of the very few things stopping me from making Jupiter my go-to bank for everything.
NGL, Jupiter is still one of the best banking apps I’ve ever used. I’ve been around since the Visa Signature debit card days (now you offer the Platinum card ), so this request is coming from a long-time user who genuinely wants to see the platform get even better.
Please consider adding Google Pay NFC support for Jupiter debit cards as soon as possible.
Sir, Please check the roadmap. We have considered your request in this quarter. However, when did a survey, we didn’t find many takers for this feature.
Thank you for the update and for considering the request. While I understand the recent survey results may not reflect it, there has actually been consistent community demand for this feature dating back to 2022 and 2023. I encourage the team to review those historical forum posts, as the use case remains highly relevant. I hope this can be reconsidered in the future.
