I’m an Aurora account holder and would like to share a couple of suggestions that I believe would significantly improve the user experience for Aurora Debit Card users.
1. Annual Fee Waiver Tracker
The Aurora Debit Card has an annual fee, which can be waived after meeting a certain spending requirement. However, there is currently no way to track:
- How much I have already spent towards the fee waiver.
- How much spending is still required.
- Which transactions are counted towards the eligible spending.
Just like the existing Taj Voucher and Lounge Access progress trackers, I request you to introduce an Annual Fee Waiver Tracker with a progress bar. This would provide transparency and help users monitor their progress easily. I believe this is a very important feature for Aurora cardholders.
2. Display MCC (Merchant Category Code) for Every Aurora Debit Card Transaction
There is often confusion about why certain transactions do not earn rewards, even when the merchant appears to be eligible. Displaying the Merchant Category Code (MCC) alongside every debit card transaction would make it much easier to understand reward eligibility and eliminate unnecessary confusion.
This small addition would greatly improve transparency and help users understand why a particular transaction did or did not qualify for rewards.
