Typing your UPI PIN is about to feel old.
With our latest update, you can authorise UPI payments using BioAuth: your fingerprint or Face ID, instead of your UPI PIN. It works for payments up to ₹5,000, and it’s built to be faster, smoother and more secure.
Why it matters:
1. Faster checkout. A glance or a touch, and you’re done.
2. Fewer failed payments. Wrong-PIN errors used to affect around 1.5% of UPI payments. BioAuth removes that step entirely.
3. Stronger security. Your biometric never leaves your device, so it’s harder to phish or shoulder-surf than a PIN you type in public.
Turning it on takes seconds. Go to Profile, then Payments, then Manage Biometric Authentication. Verify your UPI PIN once, enable your device biometric, and you’re set.
BioAuth for UPI is rolling out now with version 3.2.56. Update Jupiter on the Play Store and leave the PIN pad behind.
