Greetings from Jupiter Bill Payments team.

You heard that right! Bill Payment is now on Jupiter.
We have released this feature for the whole community + lab testers included.

What is Bill Payment and why on Jupiter?
As you already know what bill payment is, Jupiter just makes it more seamless. Pay all your bills at one place from categories like Electricity, Fastag, DTH & more, and track it seamlessly.

What is available right now?
More than 20 categories to choose from:

  • Mobile Postpaid
  • Broadband Postpaid
  • Electricity
  • Water
  • DTH
  • Fastag
  • Landline Postpaid
  • Apartment
  • Credit Card
  • Insurance
  • Education
  • Cable
  • Clubs and Associations
  • Gas
  • Housing Society
  • Hospital
  • Loan
  • LPG Gas
  • Municipal Service
  • Travel Sub

How to get started?
All the eligible users having app version 1.5.43 & above can start the journey via Pay Bills tab on the Home page.

  1. Update your App to the latest version.
  2. Click on the “Pay bills” tab on the home screen.
  3. Setup your first bill for timely reminders or press the cross button to choose a different bill category.
  4. Choose your biller.
  5. Enter the amount to be paid.
  6. Enter your M-PIN.
  7. And it’s done. Voila!

We need your help in understanding the following:

  • Let us know what you like/don’t like about our BBPS feature - Design, Onboarding, Exploration, Payment process.
  • If you’ve already been using other platforms/apps for bill payments, what is that one thing you liked on those platforms that you’d like to see on Jupiter?

Hey everyone! We’ve released the bill payments feature to our community first before we release it to everyone else.

Some of you might have joined a bit later and might not have access to this. You can ping me so that access can be given.

For those who can see the Bill payments feature, try it out and let us know your feedback!

Note: App version v1.5.43 and above app version can access the pay bills featur. So don’t forget to update the app.

It is very inconsistent sometimes the pay bills icon shows up and sometimes it isn’t there. After I close the app and open few times it shows up.

I believe focus should be on banking segment.
I don’t need a bill payment category in this app.

Don’t end up like paytm.

FD is missing , credit card missing

I think not all bank’s Credit Cards are supported at this time…

The following points could be considered for an improvement:

  1. Some vendors like MSEB (electricity) provide a discount if paid before the due date. This should be factored in.

  2. They also allow partial payments.

I’m on the latest version (1.5.47) and still don’t see any bill payments features.
