The pot is auto saving even after 6 weeks. So could you stop it after 6 weeks savings.
@alan735 Are you not seeing an option to pause the auto savings feature which would have been set up as an habbit?

You can remove habit or change goal amount.
Goto Saving challenge pot > more option > Edit goal amount to 6000
