Saving Account opening issues and calrifications

Hi,

  1. Getting the same screen every time since the day registered and tried applying for credit card, apart from “Add 10,000 for Pro benefit” there is no other option.

  2. On registering saw a notification about Zero balance saving account and 5% on every spend. Where is this account?

Hey @vishalm26 apologies for getting back to you. The first screenshot you have shared is for the PRO Savings account and the second one for Debit card associated with it.

For the Jupiter Account (zero balance), you can register for it from My Space in the Jupiter app. Alternatively, here is a link to apply for the account directly. Please open the link on your phone. If there is anything else, kindly share your number with me over dm, I will reach out.

The provided link is opening on the same screen of Federal Bank debit card. There is no other option to cancel or con out of that screen. This very frustrating, already 10 days now. Can u answer me straight, is this resolvable today or not? This to ad fro messages is not helping. I am neither able to use this account not I am able to refer anyone.

Hi I want to escalate this. Already 10 days. I am forced by the APP to open a federal Bank saving account which I don’t need, no option to get rid of that debit card screen and use other Jupiter options. I did DM but this moving very slow.

Hey @vishalm26 I have shared a clarification to you on dm on the same.

The choice of the product you wish to onboard to is offered when you download the Jupiter app for the first time. In this instance the screenshots you have shared is of your wife’s account for which Pro Savings account was selected and onboarding was completed on 27th May.

Now, to open an account you need to authenticate and perform Aadhar ekyc. In this case only the minimum steps are completed, you have to fund your account and then enter the debit card pin to proceed further in the screen. There is no option to cancel this!

Since the account opening is completed, the only way to get rid of this account is to request for a closure. Kindly note that bank account closure can be processed with account holder’s consent only.

thanks replied u on DM. Once suggestion, it nowhere say that Pro is a Federal Bank account, users will not now that they are opening federal bank account on clicking Pro. Please make it clear on the app.

Since we don’t have a banking license yet. All the savings account are opened by our partner - Federal Bank.

Understood Rohit. I have sent email yesterday as advised by the support team for account closure.

Hi, 4 days now that the saving account closure request was sent on email, Ticket ID: #5037432

No update yet, still stuck in same debit card screen. More than 10 days this complaint.

Hey @vishalm26 I have also responded to the other thread raised for the same request. As per your discussion with our support team, we have put a hold on your account closure, if you still wish to proceed with the closure, kindly share your confirmation either over call/email.

29 days now @rkp . There is no end to this confusing app and policies. Your staff just replylies once in few days and noone tracks this for solution. Last was a mail 7 days back that the Federal saving account will be closed in few days, however still the app is stuck at Debit Card screen. There are many other issue tha I reported and your staff is now confused who is working on what.

@vishalm26 - My team tried their level best to explain you things but it seems you are still not satisfied. Unfortunately, we can’t help you beyond it on this matter. We are being absolutely candid about this.
