Subject: Suggestion for Innovative Feature in Personal Finance - Add Manual Expense Entry for Cash/Offline Transactions
Dear Jupiter Team,
I have been using the Jupiter Money app since 2021, primarily for payments, and I appreciate its seamless integration with UPI and auto-tracking of online transactions. However, I’ve noticed a key gap: the app does not currently support manual entry for cash or offline expenses, which are a significant part of household and personal spending in India (like market purchases or small daily items). This makes complete expense tracking challenging, as the app only captures digital payments.
I suggest adding a simple “Add Manual Expense” feature, where users can input details like date, time, amount, category (e.g., groceries, utilities), and notes. This could integrate with existing budgets, reports, and insights, making Jupiter a true all-in-one finance app for both online and offline transactions. It’s similar to what apps like Money Manager or Walnut offer, but combining it with Jupiter’s banking features would be revolutionary.
If implemented, this would definitely make the app more appealing to a wider audience, as users like me wouldn’t need multiple apps for tracking. It could attract more people looking for a single, comprehensive personal finance solution, potentially increasing user engagement and retention.
I understand that adding new features can sometimes introduce bugs, but I believe your team can resolve them over time, as you’ve done with previous updates. This would enhance the app’s value without compromising its core strengths.
Thank you for considering this feedback. I’m excited about Jupiter’s growth and would love to see this feature in a future update!
Best regards, Ayush Kumar
