Hello team,
I just saw an email stating that 1J=0.14₹?
Does this mean as per the value depreciation the existing jewel count will be increased? OR we are set to lose some jewels due to this change?
Regards

For all the direct cash payouts like Jewels to cash, ECC bill payments etc. the value of 1 Jewel will be 14 paisa for everything else it will continue to be 20 paisa.
This does not answer my question ?
Last time the rewards were depreciated from 1J =1₹ to 5J=1₹ the total jewels were increased.
If a person had 100 jewels worth Rs. 100, the jewels were increased to 500(still Rs. 100). Is that going to be the same case this time as well like Jewels increased as per the new structure to reflect value of Rs.100 ? Or the jewels count will remain same?
Regards
Jewels count will not change.
As I mentioned, except for cash out categories of redemptions, everywhere else the value of 1 Jewel will be 20 Paisa.
Hope I was able to clarify your doubt.
This also says that , you as a customer is getting ripped off , now the rewards you earn is less valueable as they know that people mostly redeem jewels as cash or use it to pay bills as its more valuable
Customer doesn’t pay for the reward so they are not getting ripped of anything. We do agree that the value of cash-outs will be less however when we analysed the market, we felt it is still valuable than any other program. However, we will let the customers decide.
