Yes we can. But the passbook will be of federal bankā€™s with jupiter account details. You have to visit branch for that

No nearby federal branch so no passbook.
But yes as per standard banking practices issuance of passbook are free.
Recently got kotak 811 account passbook free from branch

Thatā€™s not the case for federal, after printing the passbooks. They will charge 100+gst from your account :upside_down_face:

That is what the bank said to me too but I posted the same on the community, it was few months ago. Jupiter team contacted the branch. Branch called me and apologised , asking me to come to the branch on suitable day for collecting passbook.

Duplicate passbook is chargeable but issuance & continuity of passbook generally free as per standard banking practices

In that case try to request for passbook in writing.
As per RBI guidelines no bank can deny basic banking services to public

I think it is specific to jupiter account. Check for FAQ in customer care option in jupiter , it says 100+gst :upside_down_face:

Folks, where the confusion starts is when we we start comparing neo bank services with regular banks. The concept for supporting neo bankā€™s banking infrastructure is also an uncharted territory for regular banks like Federal Bank. Hence, there will be grey areas when we look for things on the partner bankā€™s website and try drawing a parallel with Jupiter

Hey @Omverma itā€™s true.

Note: Users can change their mobile number if they have an investment account as long as they have not invested.

Itā€™s live for most of the users.
For those who had already started investing, weā€™re working on creating an offline process for changing it.
