Normal Pots is just setting aside money in a separate savings bank account. So the normal tax on bank savings account interest applies.

You’ll have to pay income tax for interest accrued beyond Rs.10000. Under Section 80TTA, interest earned up to Rs 10, 000 in any financial year is not tax-deductible.

The tax bracket depends on your total annual income. So if your tax bracket is 30%, the same applies on the interest income beyond Rs.10000.
