Introducing the Community Leaderboard 🏅

Hello everyone :hyper_wave:

We’ll be tweaking the Community Champion requirements and how it’s being decided going forward.

How to be a champ? :medal_sports:

The @Community_Council will be responsible for selecting the future champs :v:

  1. You will need to be in the top 10 ranks on our leaderboard/Or had climbed up in the past
  2. You’ve been helping your friends around the forum
  3. Tested product features with others/team during lab tests/bug hunting
  4. You’ve been visiting the forum quite often
  5. Council team’s gut feeling

Note: There could be a chance of not selecting anyone for a particular month
Repeated champs won’t get selected.

Leaderboard changes :1st_place_medal:

Our leaderboard was launched in the month of Feb and we’ve had it since.
The metric used to decide the winner was based on global stats (Beginning of time)

We will be shifting it to Monthly (This was changed a week ago)
You will get an easier chance of climbing the ranks for that particular month.

Note: We’re trying to figure out a way to reset scores on the 1st of every month.

Champions status :space_dab:

With great power comes great responsibility :v:
A champion status can now be revoked. If members:

  1. Spam the threads for climbing up the ranks easily for upcoming months.
We’ve seen some members who reply in open threads with 1-2 words that had no relation to the topic.
  2. Not following the guidelines
  3. Show signs of negativity.
  4. Not being active

The overall decision will be made by the Council team.

New perks :sunglasses:

If there’s a Community event and one of the winners is a champ, they would get more rewards than other members. The team is planning to keep some fun events in the coming weeks, stay tuned!

Regards,
Community & Council Team
