I agree on the sad state hands down. I faced a different experience the first time around when I applied for the Tata Neu card. They approved the card and blocked it 2 hours before the physical card delivery as someone suddenly assumed that diners club card that I had with them and closed (confirmed by my CIBIL) is still open.
I am wondering what good card does ICICI have? Except ICICI Amazon Pay card ofcourse.
If they tie up with more banks then people will obviously have more chance of getting accepted from different banks and eventually Amazon would have a lead than Flipkart I think so
Well that is the point I wrote above in my comments.
Interestingly the banks won’t lend directly to risky borrowers. But would lend to upper category NBFCs which in turn would take risk and lend to risky borrowers.
"The financial inclusion index improved from 56.4 in March 2022 to 60.1 in March 2023, primarily due to their efforts.
Of the total Rs 3.50 lakh-crore micro-credit loans given by the banking industry, microfinance institutions, or MFIs, surpassed banks as the leading microcredit providers with a 40 per cent share in the gross micro-credit portfolio at the end of December 2022."
I once had the Flipkart pay later account but I got it closed but it was still active with the idfc bank and was showing in my idfc account and I asked the bank to close it and they did but now I checked my credit report for cibil it is still showing there after 3-4months I closed the account but in Experian it shows closed so anyone knows what I can do to make sure it is shown closed in cibil report too.
And for some reason my kiwi Axis cc account is shown in Experian but not in cibil
@Priyansh_Gaur Ask fot NOC from FK.
@kingzeusvj I doubt Flipkart will take any action on this matter.
@Priyansh_Gaur Flipkart didn’t assist me in closing the pay later account. It was the IDFC team that came to my help. After reaching out on Twitter, they promptly got in touch, processed my request for closure, and issued the NOC within 48 hours. I’m yet to check it on Experian. Typically, I use the OneScore app to check my Experian score, but for the past three months, it is displaying a server error for me. The best option is to report this discrepancy on Experian portal
@razack I took my NOC after closing my loan accounts with Slice, Bharatpe. Forgot with Paytm, and issue happened there.
Why Bharatpe?
Do they provide loans/credit line?
Postpe (from BharatPe). I don’t know whether it is still there or not.
Is Bhartape is only a bill payment platform?
Presently Postpe is providing credit line with Lenden, Liquiloans and Trillionloans
Actually idfc closed the loan in 48hrs and I got the message for the same that it is closed but it was like 3 or 4months back yesterday when I checked my onescore app in Experian it was showing it was closed but in cibil section it still shows opened so what should I do about that
Flipkart actually closed my account almost a year back then after couple of months I opened my idfc account and the loan was showing in the idfc then I asked them to close they also did but the thing is it is showing in cibil as opened and in Experian as closed
Ok got it. I think you have the option on the OneScore app to report the error with the control number. I suggest you to try it once.
Earlier I had CIBIL subscription for 1 year and their report and resolution process was so fast. Don’t know how much time it would take through OneScore app
Tweet against IDFC and Flipkart. An hour after tweeting IDFC First called me and said my account will be reflected as closed in CIBIL after 7 days. I checked my score a month later and my account was closed in CIBIL.
It takes time. At least 4 months exact for it to reflect on cibil. Happened with Lazypay. Closed in 3 other credit bureaus withing 2 months.
Write a email to cibil. They might help you
