Feature that could be added to XtraBoost for more flexibility

I would like to give some feedback on XtraBoost as below:

Feedback

  • Add an optional trigger setting for when XtraBoost transfers money via InstaRedemption.

Current Issue

  • With a limit of ₹50,000, every spend (e.g., ₹1,000) triggers an automatic redemption.
  • This results in multiple small transfer transactions, which may be undesirable.

Suggested Improvement

  • Allow users to define a minimum savings account balance threshold.
  • Example:
    • Set threshold to ₹15,000.
    • Trigger InstaRedemption only when the savings account balance falls below ₹15,000, instead of after every transaction.

Benefit

  • Reduces the number of small redemption transactions.
  • Gives users greater control over when funds are transferred from XtraBoost.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I will add it in the backlog and revert back to you after our analysis.

Btw, we have already released the feature to set a minimum limit of 5,000. We will try and see if we can solve the smaller redemption trigger point highlighted by you.

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

I do not see the Minimum Limit feature. Can you please explain what is that feature ? Also where can I find it ?

Hi @Dibakar_Bose The minimum limit is referring to the minimum amount that goes to the XtraBoost.

Example, if your account has balance of INR 25,000 and you enable the minimum amount as INR 5000, then the amount in your balance would be INR 5,000 post the INR 20,000 auto investment.

You can find it when you are setting up the XtraBoost.
