You asked for this. We built it. XtraBoost limits just went custom. 🔥

First, what’s XtraBoost?

Savings accounts give you around 2.75% interest on your balance - your savings account does its job, but your idle balance could be doing a lot more.

XtraBoost changes that. It’s Jupiter’s auto-sweep feature that takes the idle balance sitting above a threshold you set and automatically invests it into SEBI-regulated liquid and overnight mutual funds - low risk, high liquidity, and up to 7%. That’s 2.5x more the returns of a regular savings account.

The smart part: Jupiter’s auto-sweep runs daily. If your balance goes above your threshold, the extra gets invested. If it dips below, money moves back automatically - so your account always stays topped up. And when you need to spend, you can pay directly from XtraBoost without withdrawing first.

Your money works harder. And it’s always within reach.

Until now, the threshold was fixed at ₹20,000 for everyone. Same number, no wiggle room.

We’ve been reading your messages - the DMs, the threads, the comments asking

“Can I set my own XtraBoost limit?”

Took us a while. But it’s here.

XtraBoost limits are now customisable. :sparkles:

You can now set your threshold to whatever works for you.

Here’s the deal :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Jupiter Savings Account members - minimum limit: ₹5,000

Here’s how to set yours :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Activating XtraBoost for the first time? You’ll be able to pick your limit right during setup - no extra steps.

Already on XtraBoost? Head to XtraBoost settings in the app and you’ll find the option to customise your limit right there.

This is the first time we’re putting this control in your hands - and we know, it should’ve always been this way.

The update goes live next week on the latest version of the Jupiter app. Make sure you’re updated before you dive in.

Hi,

Since the XtraBoost is a mutual fund so whenever the amount will be transferred back to the savings account it will be considered as Redeem from Mutual Fund, right? So, are you going to generate a P&L Report in the app so that during financial year we can use it for filing ITR?

Yes.
