I’d like to suggest a small but highly useful feature for the UPI payment experience in the Jupiter app.
Currently, when making UPI payments after scanning a QR code, users need to manually calculate the final amount if it includes multiple items, taxes, or shared expenses. Recently, I noticed a very intuitive approach in another UPI app where a built-in calculator is available directly on the amount entry screen.
The flow is simple:
- Scan the QR code
- Enter the amount
- Use a small calculator option to add multiple values
- The final amount is auto-calculated and ready for payment
This makes everyday payments—like dining, shopping, or expense splitting—much faster and reduces errors from manual calculation.
Introducing a similar calculator on Jupiter’s UPI payment screen would significantly improve usability and align well with Jupiter’s focus on thoughtful, user-first design.
