UPI Transactions Limitations

What are UPI Transactions Limitations in terms of no of txns and amount per day?

Hi @heyanshukla here are the UPI transactions limits

P2P (Person-to-Person transfers):
Up to 10–20 transactions per day and ₹1 lakh daily limit

P2M (Person-to-Merchant): No cap on transaction count and ₹2 lakh daily limit (or ₹5 lakh for special categories like education, healthcare, insurance, IPOs, tax payments)

Cool-off period (after PIN reset or device change): ₹5,000 max in first 24 hours

I made P2M transactions only and I cannot make more transactions. Contacted Jupiter support team and say that we cannot do anything and you have to wait for 24-hours

Heyans, I understand this. The information shared is the transaction limits set by NPCI. Apart from these, there are additional checks that done by NPCI and we share the same information. Kindly do not attempt any transactions else the 24 hours limit resets again.

If you are still facing the issue post 24 hours, DM me your ticket ID and I will help you from there.

How to avoid this issue? What should I take care of?

These are security checks done from NPCI and Bank sometimes, Heyans. They depend on various factors such as location or merchant or the frequency. These are done only to keep the account secure and to avoid any possible issues.
