Folks who are good at saving money, what’s your mindset?

Hearing this for the first time
It has to be a user-specific offer. @kirankiran10333 and I think we need to wait for a bit more to get this offer for all users :+1:t2:

For context, I don’t use my debit card. Maybe because of that this user specific offer may have showed up for me.

Just wait for 40 days and rethink do you really need a new mobile phone?

@mateen_maldar The 40 days waiting is the hard part :blob_worried:

In order of preference:

a) calculate your fixed investments [park in high-interest-paying savings account till the due date]
b) calculate your bills and make repayments as per due date [till then park those funds as per preference 1]
c) part of remaining funds should be parked as emergency expenses and other part should be used to buy direct equity an that too in tranches

Hahaha, as the Finance Head of My Mudra, I probably analyze my emotions like a balance sheet!

When I see that shiny new phone, my finance brain says: *"Depreciating asset, unnecessary expense, resist temptation!
But my emotional brain whispers: “Look how sleek it is… imagine the Insta pics!”

So, I negotiate with myself: *“Let’s wait 6 months, let the price drop, and if I still want it, I’ll consider it—AFTER selling my old phone.”

Finance Tips (My Style ):

1.“Loan for Assets, Not Liabilities” – A home? Smart loan. A phone? Nah, cash only!
2. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” – But if it’s too old, at least trade it in!

Controlled spending is just like managing company funds—except the CFO (my brain) and the CEO (my heart) don’t always agree! :joy:
