So, who is the founder of BharatPe
Shashvat Nakrani and Bhavik Koladiya founded the company and Ashneer came on board as the 3rd confounder
ZestMoney was the company that initially provided me with a credit limit, allowing me to make my first-ever purchase on EMI. Back in 2019, their customer support and services were exceptional. However, over time, I began encountering issues with them. They failed to report loan closures promptly to the credit bureaus, incorrectly marked payments as delayed or non-payment, and even blocked my credit without any prior notice. These problems started to negatively affect my experience with them and I never used it since 2021.
Can find graphs, timelines and charts regarding their growth and fall here:
Growth at all costs is the core issue here.
Also, I faced the issue of incorrect reporting with Uni.
One more entrant in the now increasingly crowded market of third part UPI apps. Having said, really hope it addresses their goal of reducing the COD orders.
Everyone is in the race to launched UPI Payments feature ![]()
Just like that previous article on Zomato’s UPI,
“It hopes that shoppers will tap the in-house feature to pay, staying on the platform throughout, instead of undertaking the transaction on an external UPI app”
Jupiter UPI rewards at stake!!!

To encourage users to make in-app transactions instead of switching to third-party apps, these platforms have to provide greater rewards to their users.
However, it’s important to consider that most of these platforms are already facing financial losses. This raises the question of why they are entering into these segments unnecessarily.
Ultimately, users will stick to their preferred platform that offers them better value for their spending.
I think they want users to avoid debit and credit cards. As that costs them money, UPI is almost free.
There is a famous phrase " Nothing in life is ever free". Who knows whether UPI too will start charging some sort of fees in future. Merchant UPI fees may be the first step towards it…
As of now, no one (users or merchants) pays any transaction fees. Which then warrants the question- are these apps looking to pivot and become super apps?
At least you received a message. Even though I registered and on wait list, I have not received any message from them
Same here. ![]()
Something says me Jupiter’s also gonna launch in partnership with Axis itself.
Wild hunch.
What was your waitlist number?
Nevermind, my waitlist number is decreasing.
My waitlist number was 6643 on 3rd May, when I registered for it. Today it stands at 6631. Yes, as you said, it is decreasing, but not at a greater rate. ![]()
How to check it?
The option to check the waitlist number is there at the end bottom of the website. Scroll down and you can find it there.
