Sadly we cannot use emojis in the app descriptions 
(iOS specifically)
We could on the Play Store, but then it would seem off.

Today, I updated the app after noticing @specter’ message on the community forum.
However, I was unable to view any details about the updates, as the description section was blank on the Play Store. Is this an issue on my end?
No, it’s not an issue on your end. I think the developers haven’t updated the description section yet.
Still today, the app description has not been updated to reflect the latest changes, but I appreciate the removal of the embedded ads on Jupiter.
Since the recent updates, I have not been able to see those ads.
