I can conclude two things. Either you actually have internal news surrounding the development issues. Or you did a pro gamer move by spreading some over the top panic so that someone from the team is forced to reply on this thread.
Why would I want to create panic? I was talking to a friend who works at Jupiter Money. I didnât even know that this thread exists until I searched for Jupiter Money iOS after having conversation with him.
I was surprised to know how so many people are eager to join the product and the Jupiter money team is blatantly lieing.
Also, canât wait for them to delete all my messages
Yes itâs kind of hard to believe that a fintech veteran like @Jiten would post false launch claims. After launching credible services, anticipating product launches shouldnât be something that would be off by a whole month. @Shawnpinto can you pls clarify?
Okay. I am giving up waiting for the iOS version to launch. I have money lying in my Jupiter account that is virtually blocked ever since I moved to iOS and thereâs no way for me to utilize it through UPI or convert the jewels to cash and I canât just simply put my sim back in android (It virtually resets every UPI app set on iOS and again has to go through the tedious sim card activation)
I hope Jupiter Team understands the gravity of the issue. Most of my transaction were routed through Jupiter but even since because of this app unavailability issue, I have moved to Slice.
If their iOS app is nowhere coming, they should be transparent enough and also should have given an option in their android app where a user could simply punch in the OTP and get access to his account rather than it being an automated process where the app try and sends verification message on itâs own (gets stuck at this step since registered sim is not in that phone) and virtually locking out the user.
I donât want to discredit or disregard any team member or the developers who have been working hard on the product but itâs disappointing to see how this thread, in specific, is being ignored and by this time itâs painfully obvious.
The replies given are overly generic that even the users anticipating for Jupiter canât even figure out any possible timeline.
How can community support be justified when the members of this thread tend to believe a random guy more whoâs claiming Jupiterâs iOS release date is actually delayed by a whole month than the team members themselves.
No one is responding to the allegations from Jupiter team. Seems the allegations are correct, there is nothing to defend from their side as they are exposed now.
A 2-3 month delay is minuscule when it comes to a large scale roll out of an app, and a retail consumer facing (first of its kind) neobanking app at that.
If no one has worked in neobanking app development, hold back on your negative sentiments. This is very nascent technology that comes with its convolutions and I am sure the Jupiter team is working hard to get this app out for us iOS users, not only to put an end to this threadâs explicit impatience, but for their own milestones they have in place. They have a lot more at stake than any of us do and they have no obligation to be honest and always responsive to us as they themselves are most probably fed up with their delays and are focusing on it. I do not believe they are being apathetic towards us so give them a break and let them do their thing. Again, this is new tech so one has to be absolutely sure of its quality before rollout.
That being said, I am excited for this iOS roll out and will remain patient.
Weâve got news. Weâve submitted the iOS build to Apple, and should have approval within the next 2-15 days. Youâll be the first ones to check out the iOS app, as soon as itâs approved.
How early access will work
Weâll be rolling out the iOS app in a phased manner, just like we did with Android.
the thing was never revolving around the product launch. I have, at times, commented that as a community, we are getting too impatient regarding the product and timelines should hardly matter when someone is trying out something in a new domain. I guess the people responsive in this thread actually have that kind of patience to wait for a product.
The disappointment is regarding how ignorant the team has been to this thread. When you set up a community page, obviously thatâs for building much transparent communications.
âSorry but we are running a little late from the scheduled timelineâ would have been a much delightful response.
Furthermore, it just raises more brows on how the team can possibly ignore the community members during some developmental hiccups in future. Again, no disrespect to any team members or developers. Just a request for genuine conversations in this community.
Yes. Fair enough. But one cannot expect the CEO to respond on here on the daily. Shawn from Jupiter has been rather responsive on this thread, so I do not have complains on that regard.
And speak of the devil - his most recent post must give much comfort to the individuals on this thread.
I would like to think my first post on here this morning might have set forth the winds of good news on iOS launch, which we can expect very soon
