I don’t even remember when was the last time I used Paytm to pay a merchant. I am getting warning of wallet deactivation 
.
Inspite of it’s discrepancies, I still like Paytm. I think for Indian Fintech, Paytm is the poster child.
And with it’s penetration into rural India, Paytm has a great advantage and potential.
But they seem to be wasting it.
I am thinking they are cleaning their mess slowly by breaking ties with China, making profits through merchant loans, etc
I still hope they can do more.

Paytm offers are mostly upto or very minimal now a days.
@Abhinav_Goyal Paytm is the first Indian Fintech Company that impressed me.
And the fact that they had QR code based payments even before UPI impresses me.
Also their innovation in SoundBox, etc is great.
The UPI payment is fast in Paytm compared to other apps.
They bring features quickly into the app Eg. UPI Lite.
Also they are probably the only challenger for Bookmyshow.
It is the closest to being a Super App in India.
I was into offers on Paytm before. But now I am gravitated towards the value that Paytm brings.
Paytm is also becoming profitable. So it may be the one that will survive the Fintech competition. So good to bet on it.
Yes their customer care needs a lot of improvement. And some unethical/illegal practices too. But I am hoping it would improve as they are becoming better everywhere else.
I am not into Cred a lot. I don’t like the interface. When it launched it was great. But now Cred wants to be everything in it’s pursuit for profit. It doesn’t work for me.
The only thing I use it for is the credit card bill payments. Because it’s fast. But nowadays even Paytm and Mobikwik are instant. So no brownie points for Cred.

Yeah Jupiter and Payzapp is fast but Number based UPI ID is big turn off

Agree. I want to use Jupiter UPI but I use it only when there are some offers.
If only Custom UPI ID was available, I would use Jupiter only!

It’s a start but that will still be a NO for me.
Other than name, no other data should be visible to the person on receiving end.
Try the bhim app and the newest UPI features comes to it first
