News about Neo Banks šŸ—žļø

Can this change BharatPe’s fortunes? This is definitely a competition for Jupiter’s foray into building its loan back after getting the NBFC licence.

I just finished reading this topic :exploding_head:. Since I took a short break from the community, I had around 800+ unread posts to catch up on under this thread. This thread seems to be as old as Jupiter, but browsing from the first thread to the last (1061th post and growing), one can visualize the journeys of various neobanks in India and across the globe, as well as their product offerings. From catering to couples to kids, the golden generation of the 90s to millennials and Gen Z, one can experience the growth, development, shrinking, and even extinction of various neobanks by just going through these posts.

Additionally, this thread appears to be a gathering place for members of the community ranging from the super seniors to the newest members. I’m happy to have witnessed the growth of this thread and acknowledge the contributions of each and every member here. :star_struck: :star_struck:

No doubt, this thread has more information about neobanks and their offerings, than any wiki. :cool_doge: :cool_doge:

Now that I think about it, This thread is probably the oldest and still kickin’ on the forum.

It does look like a journey/evolution, doesn’t it? :star_struck:

In fact, as I said earlier we can experience the four stages of PLC (PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE) such as Introduction, Growth, Maturity and Decline/Death, for most of the new gen banking products/services just by reading those posts. In all sense, this thread is a real Journey and the journey goes on… :cool_doge:

Why this thread is dead?

@Udhav_Joshi I believe it’s continued over here now - Fintech News Bytes
It’s not just about neobanks anymore. Folks have started sharing things on Fintech in general

Check it out!

@yagnesh01 Neo Bank fatigue setting in?

@razack is this a credit line or a credit card?

What is your review of it? Recommended?

@yagnesh01 by the way, I am aware that you have your company accounts in Jupiter. So it doesn’t make sense for you to switch anywhere else.

It would be too much work.

@Pratyushh Nope, this is my first time hearing about it :+1:t2:
Thanks for the information :v:t2:
I’m hopeful that there won’t be any problems when I give it a try, especially since I can see there are many things like BTC and NFTs out there which need some cuation in these times.

Btw, loved this from their website

Edit:
Just checked Play Store and I can say that all the latest 5 star reviews are paid reviews :joy:

Also, could see a lot of complaints regarding them requesting initial payment of 1499 :exploding_head:

@Pratyushh @razack isn’t using this card basically playing with fire? DeFi, Crypto, etc.

Especially with the Jupiter account…

On a related note, found this on technofino forum:

ā€œI interviewed the CEO as a marketing Manager for other NFT startup on one of the company’s Twitter Spaces session and I know him well. It was supposed to be a crypto backed card. I got the beta invite and I saw the website that its now a ruPay prepaid card where you have to load money and you get rewarded in crypto or digital gold for the spends.
Since crypto is f**ked in India, I guess they are struggling with the card. It was supposed to be a Credit card but they have pivoted since.ā€
