Why is there no Direct MF on jupiter?

Hi,

I was looking to invest through magic spends in mutual funds but there are no direct plan mutual funds. I only see regular plan mutual funds. Is this for everyone?

Dear Aadit,

We are working on a solution to let the customers chose between direct/regular. We will come back with a date. Please note given the regulatory framework, we can only allow a user to either invest in regular funds or direct fund across different features of the app.

Thanks for getting back but I don’t see an option to invest in direct MF anywhere on the app. So as of now, you are offering only regular plan MFs?

Hi @Aadit_Nair Due to guidelines, user can either invest only in direct fund or in regular fund. Enabling both is not possible but we are exploring options for this and once this is live, we will surely update you.

But I’m unable to see any option to invest in direct MFs. There are only regular plan MFs, that’s what I’m trying to highlight.

Your point in acknowledged. Currently only those users who have invested in Direct Funds are able to see the direct funds options. For others, it is regular fund by default. We are working to fix this and you will have an update within this month.
