Receiving Salary & Honorarium Payments in My Jupiter Salary Account

Well, hello Community!

I have been using Jupiter since 2022, and I’ve genuinely loved the experience so far. Recently, my Jupiter Savings Account was upgraded from Pro to Salary. :slightly_smiling_face:

I have a question regarding incoming payments. Apart from my regular salary, I also receive an honorarium from IIT Madras once every four months. The payment amount is variable, but it is generally ₹50,000 or more.

Until now, I have been receiving these payments in another bank account, but I would like to receive all my payments—including my salary and honorarium—into my Jupiter Salary Account.

My question is: If I receive these variable payments from IIT Madras once every four months, could this cause any issue with my account, such as the account being temporarily frozen or restricted? Or would it be completely fine?

I wasn’t able to connect with a bank agent through the Jupiter app during office hours, which is why I’m posting here. If someone from the Jupiter team could clarify this, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks for the kind feedback. Income mismatch generally has a threshold so if this honorarium is a very small percentage of your declared income, it should not raise any flag. If you DM your details, @Vajrala_Pradeep can check with the bank and come back.
